Original burgundy straight-grained cloth made to look like morocco. Gilt titling within ribbon style gilt borders on upper cover. Not in Bondy, nor Spielmann, nor Welsh. In 1912, such books were popular as "Birthday Books," where readers would record the birthdays of friends next to the printed verse for that date. This edition is hitherto unrecorded.
