Printers's galleys/mocked-up book? 4to., 26ll., unpaginated, largely stapled with loose leaves and preliminaries/endpapers glued into the original illustrated paper wrapper, profusely illustrated with b&w photos and photocollage/line drawn illustrations, largely facsimile handwritten text, printed on rectos or versos only with page numbers on blank sides in holograph, one annotation also in Biro. London, Stiff Records, Printed by ZigZag Magazine, n.d., 1977. Covers a bit browned, stained and rubbed, foxing/offsetting one some blanks, glue dried up. The printed book is rare in institutions, we can only find one copy in NYU's downtown collection, in libraries searched with OCLC and so it is hard to compare but from google image search we see that the cover titles were eventually spot-coloured in green and not the reverse white of the item in hand. Provenance: Jake Riviera via Rat Scabies. The annotation is opposite a full page portrait of the drummer Scabies it calls for the insertion of 'Sick of Being Sick'. Lyrics include most of Damned, Damned, Damned ' and a handful of other tracks . Includes capsule biographies of the group and a message from Nick Lowe the producer, thus: 'They're Damned good eggs'. The cover image is a beautiful solarized group portrait.
