29 x 21.5cm. Hardcover with dustjacket, 224pp. Warmly inscribed by Desmond Morris to the curator Jennifer Mundy, with a detailed full-page 'biomorph' drawing by Morris, dated 2002. Each distinctive biomorph is a unique surrealist invention by Morris, reflecting biological forms, drawing upon his background in zoology. Morris was one of the foremost exponents of Surrealism in Britain. From the dustjacket: "this book traces the principal themes in his paintings and discusses their significance within the context of Surrealism". Very good condition.
