xvi, 506, [1] pp. With 3 engraved portrait plates (one pasted in). Recent marbled paper-covered boards with a paper spine label. Small loss to edge of p. 121, unaffecting text, and occasional light staining or finger mark, but generally clean and well-preserved. With an ink inscription to upper half-title. The diaries of George Bubb Dodington, the Whig politician who was among other things MP of Winchelsea and Bridgewater, Treasurer of the Navy and political pampheleteer. A well-preserved VG copy in a modern, tight binding. 8vo.

The Chiswick shop is open Monday to Saturday 10-30 to 17-30 GMT and most Sundays 11 to 5 and earlier at the beginning of the month when the Flower and Antiques Markets are on in front of the shop (by all means call in advance to be sure). We only list a small proportion of the ever changing stock.
