Ferguson 4406 with the advertisements not mentioned by him. ['In 1837 Stokes went out as Lieutenant under Commander Wickham for surveying the coasts of Australia in Darwin's old vessel the Beagle. In 1841 the Commander was invalided home and Stokes succeeded to his post. Most of the surveying took place along the North Coast the Gulf of Carpentaria and at the Swan River. Sydney Bass Strait etc.] Finely Bound Navy morocco, blind stamped, gilt titled, gilt ruled borders, marbled end-papers, uncut. leather pockets containing folding charts to rear, with original cloth spines, end-papers retained and bound at rear.
