Single sheet, printed on one side only. Old central vertical fold. A trifle creased, manuscript title to verso. An apparently unrecorded mid-nineteenth-century handbill advertising 'handsome mahogany' tables 'having a surface of perfect smoothness' as 'an excellent substitute for ice, whereby the national game of curling may be enjoyed indoors'. The advertisement was additionally printed in the Glasgow Herald, 28th October, 1850. Size: Dimensions 130 x 200 mm.

Our bias is towards the unusual, the interesting and the important - and always have a good stock of rare books by local authors such as T.E.
