The success that students will experience in the future is directly tied to the topics covered and skills developed while studying The Dynamics of Work/ Students with strong academic skills and/or job-specific skills will have an advantage in their future careers. However without career planning skills without the ability to solve problems make decisions and manage their own resources and without an understanding of their role in business labor and government students will have a difficult time reaching their potential.

Miles has taught the material covered in this text for several years. Recognized as an innovative and creative educator he has provided many workshops for teachers on suggested strategies for presenting these materials. Miles is also an active member and leader of numerous professional education organizations. He currently is Chairperson of Business Education at Pittsford High School in Pittsford New York.
