The study included neighbouring towns and districts: Murryville, New Kensington, North Park, Carnegie, McKeesport, Wilkinsburg, Penn Hills, Monroeville, McKnight Village, McKees Rocks, Mr. Lebanon, Duquesne. - Loosely inserted are 3 leafs: "Non-Technical Summary of the Report by the Pittsburgh Study Group for Nuclear Information". - "It is estimated that in case of direct attack on Pittsburgh with one twenty-megaton weapon, as a result of blast and fire alone about a million people in Allegheny County would be killed and of the half million survivors, 40% would be injured" (conclusion, leaf 3 of the inserted "Non-Technical Summary"). - Provenance: from the library of Theo Sommer (small memorial book plate on the inside of the cover). Sommer (1930-2022) was an eminent German journalist and publisher and a close friend to German-born US-politician Henry Kissinger (1923-2023). - All in all with somewhat pronounced dog-earing. Otherwise good copy.
