Hardcover. Condition: Poor. No Jacket. 105th Edition. "Accompanied by a Compendium embracing a new systematic order of parsing, a new system of punctuation, exercises in false syntax, and a system of philosophical grammar in notes: to which are added an appendix, and key to the exercises: designed for the use of schools and private learners." The book is in poor condition. Brown hardcover extremely torn, worn and soiled. The front cover has completely detached from the book. The titles are not visible. A third of the spine is chipped. All edges are chipped and torn. The binding is cracked and has pulled away from the spine. The pages are soiled, foxed, age-toned, and creased. Compendium over sized page folded and tipped in front free endpaper has closed tears and is in same condition as the rest of the pages. Despite its condition text remains legible.
