Limited edition of 750 copies. Two volumes, 267, [1]; [iv], 279-523, [1] pp. Bound in full red and orange clothwith gilt lettering to spines by the Fine Book Bindery in Wellingborough, in single grey cloth slipcase, the latter of which has only slight rubbing at points. Outram House bookplates. Outram House, otherwise known as Sphinx Hill, is the youngest listed building in the UK. It was built by John Outram for Henrietta and Christopher McCall in 1999. Foreword by Alan Powers, who curated the Imperial War Museum's 2003-4 exhibition of Ravilious' work and Anne Ullmann, the daughter of Ravilious. Selections of letters to and from Ravilious, amongst around 120 watercolours and other associated sketches, reproducing all the known paintings, some of which on folding plates. We have been trading in Chiswick for 55 years - come and visit us in our bow-windowed c18th shop. All of our shipments are now tracked. Our Standard service is currently Royal Mail Tracked with FedEx, UPS and Parcelforce for larger parcels; local conditions vary so please be patient with us. Stephen Foster ; Foster Books, 183 Chiswick High Road, London W4 2DR. Old and rare books, a good turnover of stock leaning towards Arts subjects. Fine bindings, illustrated, literature. Only 5 minutes walk from Turnham Green tube station on the District Line in West London. The Chiswick shop is open Monday to Saturday 10-30 to 17-30 GMT and most Sundays 11 to 5 and earlier at the beginning of the month when the Flower and Antiques Markets are on in front of the shop (by all means call in advance to be sure). We only list a small proportion of the ever changing stock.
