Second English edition of this translation of 'Essai sur la chasse au fusil' with minor additions, both John Acton and W. Cleator have both been suggested as the editor/translator. Provenance: With the ink signature and engraved armorial bookplate of Henry Tomkinson (1741-1822) of Dorfold, Nantwich, Cheshire. This edition not in Schwerdt; Chute, 4.
