FIRST EDITION IN ENGLISH, illustrations by the author, pp. 156, [3], crown 8vo, original red boards, backstrip lettering and vignette to upper board stamped in blue, a couple of very faint marks to leading edge of boards, bookplate to flyleaf, slight offsetting to free endpapers from dustjacket flaps, dustjacket with Jansson illustration to front panel, a little rubbed and nicked to extremities with a short closed tear at head of rear panel and foot of front panel, very good.
