Testo latino. Cm.19,8x13,7. Pg.(8). Modesta coperta muta ottocentesca. Discendente da famiglia lunigianese, il padre Beverini (Lucca, 1629-1686) fu membro della Congregazione dei Chierici Regolari della Madre di Dio. Grande conoscitore delle lingue classiche, insegnò teologia e retorica ed eloquenza a Lucca e a Roma. Fu fecondo compositore di rime religiose e liriche, e a lui si deve il celebre volgarizzamento in ottava rima dell'Eneide. 50 gr.
