Reprint of 1864 first edition. 12mo. pp. [7], 8-416. No date, but c 1890. Original deep blue cloth, gilt title to spine and upper board, with subject of contents blocked in black. Rubbed to extremities, esp. tips of corners, text lightly toned with a couple of spots of foxing, former owner's inscription to first endpaper, dated 1892. With an engraved frontispiece, engraved additional title, and small woodcut illustrations throughout. A VG+ copy. First published in Halifax in 1864. Uncommon, no copies of this Wakefield edition at Library Hub. web.
