Three fantastic and philosophical tales of which The London Times Literary Supplement said: "Into this parable Mr. Nichols has thrown all his indigiation, all his fear of industrial slavery and of misapplied herd psychology, all his faith in Christianity as the one liberating symbol." It is a biting satire on the methods of the captains of industry. NF/VG+ in clean crisp woven blue cloth stamped brightly in gold on the front boards and the spine. Very clean and tight throughout. In a worn and edge-rubbed brown dustjakacket printed in blue and orange. With creases and tears and chipping to the top and bottom of the spine. First Edition.
