pp.333 with colour and b/w. illus., throughout. 8vo. Nr. fine hardback with some spotting to fore-edges of text block in thor. vg. dw. Loosely inserted are two leaflets from the People’s Trust for Endangered Species regarding the Stag Beetle, the first an 8-page leaflet advising on how to encourage stag beetles with Stag Beetle Survey form and the second is a six-page Stag Beetle fact sheet. Also loosely inserted is a one side, A4 colour identification guide for Harlequin Ladybird and Common British Ladybirds and a 2-page colour Harlequin Ladybird Survey leaflet both released by the UK Ladybird Survey Team. An excellent field guide with well laid out illustrations to facilitate easy identification.
