My First Scripture Stories

For years, children of all ages have enjoyed reading the simplified scripture stories found in beloved childrens board books by this author. For the first time, these cherished stories have been combined into a single volume, My First Scripture Stories. Including stories from Daniel and the lions den to Jesus walking on water and from Captain Mormonis Title of Liberty to Joseph Smith s First Vision, this book will become a family treasure as young children enjoy reading from their very own Quad. Whether it is slipped in a church bag or used during family scripture study or family home evening, My First Scripture Stories will surely become a delight for little children as they develop the habit of scripture study and learn powerful gospel lessons.

My First Scripture Stories includes My First Book of Mormon Stories, More of My First Book of Mormon Stories, My First Church History Stories, My First Old Testament Stories, and My First New Testament Stories.

Deanna Draper Buck originally wrote her simple versions of scripture stories as gifts for her family. She and her husband, George, live in Hooper, Utah. They have eight children and twenty-three grandchildren. Now Deanna teaches gospel stories to young children everywhere through her softcover and board books, including My First Book of Temples, My First Book of Latter-day Prophets, and My First Story of the First Christmas.

The illustrations by Jerry Harston helps children visualize these meaningful first stories.
