Collection of five original WWII Tyndall Field newspapers. Approx. H 14.25 inches x L 10.25 inches. All folded horizontally at centers; some edge-wear to leaves; scattered toning/foxing and soiling. Color printing to headsheets (page 1s) with remainder in b/w. ***** {#1} JUNE 19, 1943 - VOLUME 2, NUMBER 21. Sixteen pages (including covers); serviceman's ink signature at headsheet's upper left (i.e. above the fold). ***** {#2} JUNE 26, 1943 - VOLUME 2, NUMBER 22. Sixteen pages including covers. ***** {#3} JULY 31, 1943 - VOLUME 2, NUMBER 27. Missing sheet (pages 3-4 and 9-10); pages 1-2, 5-8, 11-12 present (with pages 1 and 12 being front and rear covers respectively). ***** {#4} AUGUST 14, 1943 - VOLUME 2, NUMBER 29. Twelve pages (including covers) plus unpaged leaf laid-in between pages 6-7. Interesting circumstance of Chinese-American Pfc.
