The fourth volume of the Catalogue of Early Netherlandish Painting in the Royal Museums of Fine Arts of Belgium, examines the works attributed to masters with provisional names from the 14th to the early 16th century. First grouped on the basis of stylistic affinities in 1900, the 19 paintings have been submitted to scientific examination in the hope of identifying these anonymous painters in the future.
