8vo, iv + pp136 plus publishers list to rear, complete with hand coloured "Crawshaw and Co.'s Special Dyes" plate and IX hand coloured plates of the flies, all with tissue guards with numerous b/w illustrations throughout text. Hardcover no dust jacket. Original publishers green cloth binding over bevelled boards with gilt titles to spine and front board in good condition, There is a little shelf wear to top and Tail of spine and tips and a few small marks to boards. Inside Edward March Webb's bookplate to front paste down and signature to title page, all other pages and plates, with top edge gilt, except for a being a little aged and yellowed are in very good clean and bright condition. A very nice copy from the author "generally accepted as "The Father of Modern Dry Fly Fishing". Seller Inventory # 001295
