It discusses the federal Age Discrimination in Employment Act and gives advice to actual or potential victims (e.g., keep a dismissal diary). The authors acknowledge age discrimination as a societal problem; many interviewees conclude that some older people will have to settle for a lower salary or a job in a different field.
