Timmy was homeless, schizophrenic, begging on the streets, and William, "Snake", was a gangster who recovered from serious gunshot from a drive-by, because Nikos held his hand. The people of the garden, most of them homeless, are brought on board, each with his own skills and experiences to offer to the project. About the Author

Judyth Foley has lived a long, happy life in Los Angeles, California. She and her late husband, Jim, were parents of eight children and foster parents to more than one hundred more, over a fifty year period. "This story just came to me, one day when I was driving in the rain, feeling sad. It was truly a "gift of Grace."
