Timmy was homeless, schizophrenic, begging on the streets, and William, "Snake", was a gangster who recovered from serious gunshot from a drive-by, because Nikos held his hand. The people of the garden, most of them homeless, are brought on board, each with his own skills and experiences to offer to the project.
