Pictorial hardbacks; issued without dust jackets. Main text in Japanese; issue 11 onwards with translations into English. *** GASBOOK, by Gas As Interface, began in 1996 as a project with aims to gather and proliferate new art and design ideas from around the world. The GASBOOK series (started in book form in 2002) runs to 37 issues in total; the last was published in June 2023. Most subjects are covered, but we are especially strong on literature (both paperbacks and first and rare editions), music and photography. Only a small part of our collection is available online. Please get in touch if you're looking for a particular title, or pop over to our shop in Leyton, East London. We are proud of our history as a renowned second hand bookshop, trading many years on the famous Charing Cross Road. In 2020 the Charing Cross Road shop closed down.
