FAIR / NO DUST JACKETS. Former Library Books. [3 volume set, complete] Illustrated Cabinet Edition. Vol. I: xii, [2], 385 pp., 4 illustrations. Vol. II: [10], 354 pp. 3 illustrations. Vol. III: vi, [2], 373 pp, 4 illustrations. Text with the usual library treatments and a few markings in pencil, markings in pen at each rear pastedown. Green cloth boards with portrait of George Eliot in gilt at front of each volume. Spines decorated and lettered in gilt. Edges rubbed, lower corners bumped, spine tops and tails rubbed, and starting to fray. Volume I with repair at half-title, Volume II with loose frontispiece. Joints and hinges good, textblocks firm, bindings overall stable.
