Text: I met Mr. Manby last evening when he told me that the matter of Mr. Locke's [engineer] window is in abeyance till I express to you my opinion of Mr Wailes [design for Robert Stephenson window] . I beg to say that I thought the designed very good provided that Mr Wailes takes care in the execution to [?] into it all requisite Spirit and force - which judging [by?] the drawing alone, may be the point in which there is danger without much special caution if its [?] a little defective. [.]".
