Undated circa 1938. Quarto, pp. 120. Numeorus illustrations in sepia throughout including canal plans delineated in blue. Blue quarter cloth with pictorial paper-covered boards bearing the company crest. Covers lightly surface soiled with wear to boards at upper corners and very minor loss at head of spine. Ownership inscription with address inside upper board; minor rust marks at staples and lught foxing to rear endpapers otherwise contents clean. A Very Good copy. Promotional publication outlining the facilities available on the Grand Union canal system following improvements to meet the demands of modern transport including a new line of steamers connecting the network to Canada and the USA. Rare, COPAC locates no copies at UK holdings.
