Folio (39 x 30 cm). 27 pp. including title, with photoengrav. 25 plates. Publisher's red cloth, title in silver within gilt decorative border on upper cover, gil lettering on spine. Fine example of this luxurious publication commemorating the completion of the construction of the Upper Trading Rows in the Red Square in 1894. Richly illustrated work provides an overview of the history of the Trading Rows, describes planning and construction of the new building, and gives tributes to the people who led the project.
