Hardcover. Condition: Good. No Jacket. This is the 1873 printing of the sixth edition, NOT a modern reprint. Four volumes complete. The terra cotta red cloth bindings are a bit age-dulled with light wear to the bindings. No distortion of the books from reading or improper shelving. Pages are tight and clean with no marks. Exception is pages 583-594 in vol 4 beginning to loosen at the gutter. Most volumes show a tide line from a water stain on the front and rear blank sheets. The actual text is unaffected by water. Makes one think the end sheets were exposed to water before the gathering of materials for binding. Previous owner's bookplate inside the front cover of each volume. No odor. No water damage to reading pages. Some sunning to the spines. Photos available upon request. This set is monument to New Testament research. Seller Inventory # MP19-3422C
