small format hardback. 108 pages. very good condition in the original printed boards. owner's details to front end-paper. together with the original 1904 chart - "Brown's Ten Fathom Chart of the Firth of Clyde and Western Islands of Scotland" - a large [99x75cm] folding coloured chart mounted on linen. the chart shows signs of use, a bit edge torn and grubby, but with no significant damage. the card covers are worn and creased, but sound. Both the guide book and chart are scarce items and to find the two original editions together is very unusual. The chart and guide were primarily aimed at the Edwardian yachtsman cruising west coast waters. [please see our storefront page for shipping information].
