A sound, Good copy. The three piece binding shows soiling, rubbing, and wear, the text and illustration of the cover now faint. The block shows occasional closed tears and chipping. Damp stained to the lower spine corner. The black and white illustrations, however, are bright and appealing. Unpaginated. 8.5" x 12". This is a handsome collection of 50 illustrations by British caricaturist Phil May (1864 1903), best remembered for his work at Punch, depicting the plights and pleasures of so-called gutter-snipes. .
