HILTON FAGGE, neat stamp of Guy's Hospital Library on title and Contents leaf, a very good copy. *Containing 22 papers, including those by NORMAN CHEVERS - [Observations on the Diseases of the Orifice and Valves of the Aorta, GARRISON-MORTON #2752 : the first clear account of chronic, restrictive pericarditis.], JOHN HILTON [Two Cases of Disease of the Larynx, requiring Laryngotomy], W. G. CARPENTER [Case of Fatal Pleuritis, apparently the effect of the presence in the right Pleura of a Piece of Ivory, consisting of Four Artificial Teeth, which had been swallowed thirteen years before], SWAINE TAYLOR, GOLDING BIRD, BABINGTON, ASTON KEY and others. CHARLES HILTON FAGGE [1838-1883], graduated MD from Guy's Hospital in 1863, demonstrator of anatomy from 1862 to 1866, Fagge became medical registrar of Guy's in 1866, assistant physician in 1867, and physician in 1880. He was for some years demonstrator of morbid anatomy, lecturer on pathology, and curator of the museum at Guy's and later edited the Guy's Hospital Reports.…
