As a young psychologist, I wanted to be a psychoanalyst. I even went to London and studied with Anna Freud, the daughter of Sigmund Freud.Though I quickly outgrew that idea, much of what I learned in those years has helped me to understand people. That's partly what has made a career as a psychologist so gratifying.
