Published by the Royal Society five years after Ray's death, with an Appendix on British Beetles by Martin Lister (pp. 377-398). This book represents the first systematic attempt to list and describe the British insects. Pages 122 and 357 are incorrectly numbered as 422 and 351 respectively; numbers of pages 196/197 are transposed.Horn-Schenkling 17729; Lisney 36; Keynes 104.
