About this Item

The title refers to the two hour speech Castro made October 16, 1953, in his own defense in court, as his response to the charges brought against him after he'd led an attack on the Moncada Barracks in Cuba. He revised the speech in prison, and later added the title words, 'History Will Absolve Me'. This copy is nicely bound in faux green leather with gilt lettering to front. Internally clean bright and tight. No pen marks or inscriptions. Not ex-lib. Contains black and white photographs. Please examine all seller photos.
