Tupp and Perry, Oxford Street; afterwards principal cook at Melun's Hotel, Bath; and of Martelli's, The Albany, London (Printed for Thomas Kelly. [1823]). Seventeenth Edition. 464pp, engraved portrait frontispiece, and 11 engraved plates (of which 2 folding, the final folding plate with part loss). 8vo. Rebound in modern half calf over marbled boards. Small holes to the text block in the early pages. A couple of the plates water-stained. A near VG copy. WorldCat records a single copy of this edition (BL). The Housekeeper's Instructor was first published c1790, and ran through seventeen editions by 1823.
