A very fine original mediaeval illuminated manuscript leaf on vellum from a 15th Century prayer book (circa 1475) from the Netherlands. Size 140 x 98mm. 21 lines in fine gothic script with a large floral capital "H" letter with a half-border of scrolled banners containing verses, all in beautiful red blue and green. A superb example of original mediaeval art over 500 years old.
