To Which is Added, A Discourse On The Education Of Children And Youth ~ by Isaac Watts, D.D. Two Parts Complete In One Volume; printed by G Woodfall, London 1822. Bound in full leather with 4 raised bands, title & design on spine in gilt, also a design on front cover in gilt noting Winchester College 1828 , aeg, green silk headbands; 8vo, 410pps, book is tight in binding, covers are very slightly rubbed and hinges on spine to covers are slightly worn; the book has been rebound very early in its life with dark maroon front and rear end papers; there is a white paper sheet stuck onto the inside front cover with Latin words printed and also some hand written words and a date 1828 (I don t read Latin so can t translate). A small booksellers label is stuck inside the top inside front cover noting Robbins & Wheeler Booksellers Winchester . Book is in good condition apart from the items listed above.
