297p plus folding plates in back. A large hardcover book bound in full golden-brown leather. POOR CONDITION. Front cover is detached, and extire exterior is heavily scuffed; large portion of leather torn off back board. The blank front endpapers are also detached. Convent label inside front cover. All pages browned and foxed with age, but text unmarked. A badly beaten-up copy, but still readable. Corrected edition with an appendix on astronomy compiled by Samuel Webber. This copy belonged to Archbishop John B. Purcell of Cincinnati (1800-1883), whose signature is on the title page. Measures approx. 10.75" x 9". Seller Inventory # 184030
