Text block toned with moderate foxing and soiling from use. Dampness staining in rear. Binding remains intact. Please se photos. Owned by Smiley Bancroft of Woodbury, Vermont. Bancroft was a farmer and notable justice of the peace. His records are available through the University of Vermont historical archives. Scarce Isaiah Thomas imprint, founder of AAS. Lengthy dialogues concerning the ills of 18th century England, the Pope, priest and Catholics, businessmen, gamblers, thieves, and other religious sects.
