Sixth printing of the first volume, third of the second. Octavo. In publisher's blue cloth, with large gilt centrepieces to the upper covers, and gilt vignettes to the spines. Gilt lettering to spine. All edges gilt. The first volume contains a frontispiece with a tissue guard and in text illustrations by J. L. Kipling, W. H. Drake and P. Frenzeny. The second volume contains black and white in text illustrations by J. Lockwood Kipling. A bright, near fine set. Contemporary gift inscriptions to each volume. Page 161 of first volume slightly creased, text is not effected. An attractive, early set of the Jungle Books.
