About this Item

A beautiful facsimile of the 1947 Spillane classic, produced by the First Edition Library and Otto Penzler. The book resists opening, appears new and unread. The dust jacket has slight darkening to folds, still fine. Photos are the best description. Protected in a mylar cover. Like most of Otto's books, this one does not have a slipcase. The First Edition Library published exact facsimiles of desirable first editions, down to the smallest details- cloth, paper, binding, and first edition points were identical to the originals. The series is now out of print, and these facsimile books have become collectible in their own right. The publisher's information card describing details about the book and its publication is important to collectors and this book has it.
