A beautiful print, with an elaborate architectural border and intricate detailing of costume etc. from Antoine de Pluvinel's important work on equestrianism, engraved by the Dutch engraver Crispijn de Pass. Pluvinel's innovative method of horse training was regarded as much more humane than earlier methods. Copper engraving. Uncoloured. Mounted size: 48 x 57cm Fine condition; slight wear to the centrefold.
