[Literary Magazine] First appearance. Large octavo (25 x 19cm), pp.496. Publisher's illustrated blue cloth lettered in black to upper, gilt lettering and detailing to spine. Black and white illustrations throughout, some with colour accents. Contents clean, edges of text block toned, cloth is lightly worn/soiled, gilt remains bright. Very good. Contains five original parts of Christie's classic Poirot collection, as well as 'A Matter of Form' [Albert Campion] by Allingham, 'The News in English' by Greene, 'The Ginger King' by Mason, among many other stories and news articles. This is the penultimate volume to be issued in publisher bindings, which finished at volume 100. Late numbers are particularly scarce.
