Gilt titles and raised bands to spine. Gilt tooling to board edges. For the most part internally clean, some light spotting/soiling/marking here and there. A few ink stains to appendix and rear endpaper. Endpapers gently spotted. Boards mildly worn with sunning, scuffs, ink marks, and faint splashing. Peeling to edge of lower board. A solid preservation of an 18th century copy.
