[Cookery] EARLY PRINTING IN FINE LEATHER BINDING. Seventh edition. Octavo (22 x 14cm), pp.[20] 484 [20] 23 [1]. Contemporary brown full calf, rebacked with new spine. Gilt titles and raised bands to spine. Gilt tooling to board edges. For the most part internally clean, some light spotting/soiling/marking here and there. A few ink stains to appendix and rear endpaper. Endpapers gently spotted. Boards mildly worn with sunning, scuffs, ink marks, and faint splashing. Peeling to edge of lower board. A solid preservation of an 18th century copy. 'Originally published from the manuscript collection of Mrs. Charlotte Mason, a professed housekeeper, who had upwards of thirty years experience in families of the first fashion.'.
