Hardcover, slightly oversized. Red cloth over boards. Black lettering. No DJ. Binding tight and square. Overall quite good, but not glossy enough for Very Good. Title page dated 1992. First edition. 404 pages. This copy with the initials LPB on front endpaper (for Lincoln Brower) with date Aug 93, and the note 'On EN' to indicate that it's listed on EndNote, his digital card catalogue. The code On EN on the spine in gold sharpie. Initials LPB on the front foreedge, as well. We've got a wonderful bookshelf of books from Lincoln Brower's collection listed here in our Brower catalogue. Everything you know about Monarch Butterflies, you know because of Brower's work, both scientific and outreach. He was a great teacher, an important researcher, a torch-bearing conservationist, and a leading light in lepidoptery. We are extremely excited to offer his books. Regular shipping by USPS Media Mail is $4. MEDIA MAIL SHIPPING DOES NOT INCLUDE TRACKING.
