1834. 4th Edition. 221 pages. Half bound green leather with green cloth covered boards. Book has been rebound. Binding remains firm. Pages have light tanning and foxing throughout. Thumb-marking present to some pages. Previous owner's inscriptions to front pastedown, endpaper and title page. Boards have light shelf-wear with corner bumping. Very slight crushing to spine ends. Condition: Acceptable. Most items will be dispatched the same or the next working day. A readable copy. All pages and the cover are intact (dust cover may be missing). Pages can include considerable notes--in pen or highlighter--but notes cannot obscure the text. An acceptable condition book. Eighth edition. A split down one side of the spine cover and a few notable knocks and marks to the boards. Cracks in the hinge beside each board make them both slightly loose. A contemporary annotation on the ffep. A tear to the contents page that has been repaired with tape, but in such a way that crucial sections are not obscured - Only the dots joining the lessons to the page number, and a small section where the word 'Lesson' repeats vertically. Heavy foxing to endpapers that clears significantly at the main body of text. Typical tanning and a little dust to the edges but on the whole the contents are clean and fairly bright.
