Oblong 4to, pp. 368. Original laminated photographic boards. Grey endpapers. Lacking the dustwrapper. Top edge a little marked, but a near fine copy. Profusely illustrated with photographs throughout. Revised, enlarged edition. First published in 1979. INSCRIBED BY THE AUTHOR TO BOB 'BLOCKBUSTERS' HOLNESS: 'for Bob with many thanks, David Attenborough 29.4.80'. From 1975 to 1985, Bob Holness co-presented a morning radio show on London's LBC, and over the years amassed a large collection of inscribed copies of books whose authors had appeared on the show.
