A privately printed journal with copies located at The National Library of Scotland and the Museum of Islamic Art in Qatar only. The route from Damascus, through the Hauran, crossing the Lejah, visting several of the ruined cities, (the Giant Cities of Bashan), down the east side of the Jordan towards the Dead Sea, then crossing to Jerusalem and returning through Judea, Samaria, and Galilee to Damascus. Quarto (26 x 20cm). pp. [iv],79. Interleaved. Contemporary vellum, with label, gilt, teg, with some light soiling. Inserted sprig of pressed flowers, presumably from the voyage. Vg.
