About this Item

A folder containing information and photographs promoting the German Democratic Republic Film Week held in London in January 1959. The bespoke folder is in brown canvas and has one pocket full of brochures and information about actors and directors, with two smaller pockets opposite containing around 25 original photographs of films such as Stronger than the Night, The Captain of Cologne, The Council of the Gods and Recovery. The contents are fine and altogether intriguing; the binding show a little wear to extremities but otherwise about very good.
